Two postdoc positions are immediately available in Dr. Li-Lin Du's  lab at National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing. We study  the mechanisms of cellular responses to genotoxic stress.

One position will emphasize the use of live cell imaging techniques  to study the in vivo dynamics of checkpoint and DNA repair proteins.  Experiences with techniques such as time-lapse imaging, FRET, BiFC,  FRAP, and photoactivatable fluorescent proteins are particularly  desirable.

The other position will focus on the use of affinity purification and  mass spectrometry to identify novel protein-protein interactions and  post-translational modifications involved in DNA damage response.  Candidates with strong protein biochemistry background are encouraged  to apply.
